Locals disrupt Dumre-Besisahar road after police refuse to take FIR



KATHMANDU: Locals have disrupted transportation in Bhanu municipality-9, Baisjangar in Lamjung district.

Agitating locals have disrupted the road after the police refused to accept an FIR filed by the kin of 17-year-old Sujan Shrestha who drowned in the Marshyangdi River on Tuesday.

Irate locals of Baisjangar have been disrupting the road since Thursday evening.

Locals withdrew their protest on Wednesday after reaching an agreement to move ahead in line with the law.

The administration had imposed a prohibitory order in the Siudi Bazaar area after the situation turned tense following the death of Shrestha.
