Ruling alliance will secure majority in Nov 20 elections: NC leader Mahat

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has claimed that the ruling parties’ alliance would secure a majority win in the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and the Province Assembly (PA).

Speaking at a program in Biratnagar, he said that the alliance will get majority votes in the elections.

“So, it will form the next government in the federal and province,” he said.

It may be noted that the voting for the twin elections is taking place simultaneously on November 20.

Mahat, who also takes charge of coordinator of the NC HoR and PA elections central publicity committee, said the NC would never distribute the dreams which would be unachievable.

Stating that the party has brought its plans keeping the issues of the marginalized and backward communities in the top priority, he said the party was always committed to contributing for the cause of the people in need, women and senior citizens.
