Indian leader Mulayam Singh Yadav passes away



NEW DELHI: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday morning, Indian media said.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was shifted to the ICU at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after his health deteriorated, India Today reported.

The 82-year-old Samajwadi Party patriarch was facing difficulty in breathing and was under the supervision of internal medicine expert at the Medanta Hospital, as per sources.

Singh was suffering from a urinary infection as well, hospital sources had informed, according to reports.
