‘BP’s foreign policy balanced’

POKHARA: The Nepal Writers’ Association Kaski chapter organized a seminar on the occasion of the 109th BP birth anniversary where the speakers reminded that BP’s foreign policy was balanced.

The speakers further said BP’s thoughts are equally relevant and exemplary at present.

Presenting a working paper in the event, associate Professor Bhim Nath Baral said the political leaders except BP Koirala failed to maintain balanced foreign policy.

The leaders after BP could not make clear Nepal’s stand and presence in neighboring and international communities, he argued. BP had the stature to put forth his firm stand before Nehru and Mao.

Political leaders as Kishor Datt Baral and Saraswati Gurung and literary persons as Sanjiv Poudel, Rita Adhikari and Kamal Poudel also expressed their views in the program.
