Koirala faction demand serious review of govt performance at NC Central Committee meet



KATHMANDU: The Shekhar Koirala faction of the Nepali Congress (NC) has said that a serious review of the government’s work and actions should be held at the party’s Central Committee meeting to be held on Monday.

A meeting of the faction held in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu, on Sunday concluded that there should be a serious review of the working style of the government at the Central Committee meeting.

Similarly, Koirala’s supporters also decided to stage a protest during the Central Committee meeting outside party office demanding the completion of the working committee of the sister organizations. Leaders and cadres of Nepal Students Union, Tarun Dal, Mahila Sangh and other sister organizations are to protest.

A meeting of the NC Central Committee has been called for Monday at 1 pm.

The meeting concluded that the work and actions of the party-led government should be reviewed at the Central Committee meeting.
