No mayoral rival against me in Kathmandu: Keshav Sthapit

KATHMANDU: Keshav Sthapit, the mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City from the CPN-UML, has said that he has no rival to contest in the May 13 election.

Speaking at an election rally organized by the UML in Kathmandu on Tuesday, he claimed that he was sure to get elected in the upcoming election.

“There is no competitor against me for the mayoral post of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, no one is worth competing with me,” Sthapit said, adding, “In vision, action and honesty, no one is on par with me.”

He described the UML’s election rally as worth celebrating the victory and said that he is confused whether it was the election campaign or a celebration rally.
