NEPSE goes green Tuesday, rises by 44.16 points



KATHMANDU: The stock market, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has gone green for the third day in a row.

The NEPSE index, which rose by double digits on Sunday and Monday, also rose by 44.16 points on the third trading day of the week and reached to 2313 points again.

As the stock market index increased by double digits in Tuesday’s trading, all the sub-indices traded also increased. The life insurance index has increased the most by 236 points.

Similarly, with the transaction of shares of 226 companies, Tuesday’s stock market transaction became Rs 1.35 billion.

Barun Hydro, Nyadi Group Power and Jalpa Microfinance Universal Power are among the highest earning companies in today’s business.

NEPSE, which had increased by 12.27 points on Sunday, had also increased by 17.95 points on Monday. In three consecutive days double digit growths, Nepse has increased by 74.38 points.
