KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said promotion of good governance and achievement of prosperity is possible under the NC leadership.
In his address to a door-to-door program organized here today by the NC metropolis-4 in view of the May 13 local level elections, the leader claimed that NC would ensure good governance and prosperity in the Kathmandu Metropolis if it was mandated to lead it through the election.
He urged voters to give an opportunity to the party to transform the metropolis. The NC spokesperson took time to criticize the erstwhile leadership of CPN (UML) for what he alleged wasting the five-year term for no cause of the people here. As he explained, the NC is always responsible towards the nation and the people.
Similarly, NC Kathmandu metropolis-4 president and party ward chair candidate Ram Prasad Neupane said the promotion of good governance and prevention of corruption were the top priorities of the party at the local level. (RSS)
