Tarun Dal’s ward chair injured in a scuffle in Rolpa



ROLPA: A scuffle occurred between the cadres of CPN (Maoist Centre) and Nepali Congress (NC) at Gangadev Rural Municipality-5 in Rolpa on Monday night.

Two cadres of NC were injured in the clash. The injured are NC Tarun Dal ward chairperson Man Bahadur Budhamagar and Kamal Budhamagar, 20, of the same ward.

Sunil Wali, a NC cadre of Gangadev Rural Municipality, informed that the Maoist cadres had attacked and injured NC cadres with sharp-edged weapons.

The condition of Tarun Dal ward chair Budhamagar is critical. He was taken to Kohalpur Medical College in Banke for further treatment.

A team headed by DSP Binod Ghimire reached the incident site after the scuffle, shared Information Officer of District Police Office Thaman GC.

Further details of the incident are yet to be reported, he added.
