37 Nepalis trying to enter Greece illegally arrested in Turkey



KATHMANDU: Turkish police have arrested 37 Nepalis from a house in Istanbul.

Turkish Police said they were preparing to enter Europe illegally.

According to Turkish Online, all the arrested were preparing to enter Greece illegally at midnight.

According to Nepalis in Istanbul, three of the Nepalis arrested last Monday were released by the police on the basis of documents, while the other 34 are still under police control.

Ujjwal Kumar Ghising, president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association in Turkey, was also informed about the arrest.
