Nepal sees 112 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 32 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 112 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday. There was no coronavirus-related death in the country in the last 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 77 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 35 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as there was no coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours, the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,949 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed 22 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with 32 cases in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur and seven in Lalitpur district.

Currently, there are 5,340 active cases in the country as 429 infected patients recovered.
