NC Central Working Committee meeting begins in Sanepa



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Central Working Committee of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has begun at its central office in Sanepa.

According to sources, the CWC meeting will discuss the preparations for the local elections, management of sister organizations and 16 district working committees that are yet to carry out the conventions, among other issues.

According to NC spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, all the 37 office bearers including the Prime Minister and President Sher Bahadur Deuba are participating in the meeting.

The meeting is expected to focus on the party’s strategy for the local elections scheduled for May 12.
