Prime Minister Deuba tests negative on Monday’s COVID-19 test



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s PCR report of the COVID-19 test carried out on Monday has come negative.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Prime Minister Deuba had got his PCR tested on Monday while still in isolation.

Earlier, Minister for Information and Communications Gyanendra Bahadur Karki had also tested COVID-19 negative on Sunday.

Many ministers and the top leaders of ruling alliance had been subject to contact tracing after CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ who had participated in the meeting of the five-party coordination committee  tested coronavirus positive.
