Nepal sees seven new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

All the confirmed 10 cases were detected through the RT-PCR method .

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,249 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the total samples, 637 were tested through RT-PCR and 612 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 567 active cases in the country as 12 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
