NEPSE declines by 39.15 points on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The stock market fell for the third consecutive day on Wednesday.

According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the market decreased by 39.15 points as it fell by 2 percent, the NEPSE index fell to 1917.22 points today.

When 3,697,723 shares of 223 companies were bought and sold, the market witnessed the transaction worth 1.4 billion rupees.

All groups went red today. The life insurance group decreased the most by 199.95 points.

On the first day of the week, the market had increased by 43.20 points to confine the transactions to 1.5 billion rupees on Sunday, on Monday the market decreased by 6.43 points to limit the transaction 2.1 billion rupees and on Tuesday, the market decreased by 2.57 points.
