I have no choice but to win elections to become PM: Gagan Thapa

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa said he has no choice but to win the upcoming election to become the leader of NC parliamentary party.

“I have no choice…I must win the elections to become the Prime Minister,” Thapa said on Wednesday in the course of his door-to-door campaign in Kathmandu Constituency-4.

He said that his first goal was to become a member of the House of Representatives and his second goal was to become the leader of the parliamentary party and become the PM.

“The enthusiasm of the people is praiseworthy,” he said adding that he would not let down the people’s aspirations.

Party candidates contesting the elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly have currently intensified door-to-door campaign to woo the voters.

Elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly are being held on November 20.
