NC President Deuba addressing rallies in Darchula and Baitadi today



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to address a mass meeting of the ruling alliance in Darchula and Baitadi today.

He will be joined by CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal, who will also address the same meeting.

According to the Prime Minister’s Personal Secretary, Bhanu Deuba, NC President Deuba will address the election gathering of the alliance to be held in Baitadi and Darchula on Wednesday.

On the same day, Chair of the Maoist Center, Dahal, will address the election meeting to be held in Sukkhad of Kailali Constituency 3.

The Congress-led coalition has fielded Narendra Bahadur Kunwar of the Maoist Center as the candidate for the post of member of the House of Representatives of Baitadi while Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and Congress leader Dilendra Prasad Badu from the House of Representatives seat in Darchula.

NC President Deuba, who is a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dadeldhura, participated in the election assembly held from November 3 to 6 in and around his constituency.

Meanwhile, Deuba is prioritizing meetings with party leaders and workers and is working to create an atmosphere in favor of the party and the ruling alliance.
