Chitwan UML not to support  RPP candidate Pandey in Chitwan-3

BHARATPUR: The electoral alliance between CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has come to a difficult mode in Chitwan.

Although the UML leadership agreed to hand over Chitwan Constituency 3 to RPP and support Bikram Pandey, Chitwan UML has prepared to field its candidacy.

In Chitwan-3, UML has given the ticket to the district chairman of the party, Ram Prasad Neupane. A leader of UML Chitwan informed that they are planning to file candidacy at 2 pm today.

Neupane, who was born in Madi and has lived in Bharatpur for a long time, is also the former chairmant of Bharatpur metropolis committee of the party.

Most of the wards of Bharatpur and Madi municipality are included in Chitwan-3.

After CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda left Chitwan-3, Maoist Center has presented Dr. Bhojraj Adhikari as its candidate.

Nepali Congress (NC) rebel Jagannath Paudel is planning to file candidacy from the same region.
