RAMECHHAP: 13 passengers got injured when a bus mishap occurred at Khandadevi-3 this morning.
According to Ramechhap District Police, the bus accident occurred at the Chahari River near Sitkha Bazar.
The Ba 3K 4048 bus which left from Doramba for Kathmandu had an accident.
Eyewitnesses said that the bus crashed due to high speed. Most of the passengers were returning after receiving Dashain Tika.
DSP Rajkumar Thing informed that the bus was on reserve and the accident happened due to failure to control the speed.
There were about 30 passengers in the bus.
All the injured passengers were rescued by the police and the locals and have been taken to Dhulikhel Hospital in Kaverapalanchok for treatment, the police said.
