Rainfall to continue for three more days



 

KATHMANDU: Rainfall is likely to continue for three more days due to the impact of monsoon low pressure area.

It has been taking place in most parts of the country for the past five days.

Due to the weather system, it will rain for three more days, said meteorologist Binu Maharjan of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division.

The weather will gradually improve from coming Tuesday.

Meteorologist Maharjan said that the monsoon is still active in Nepal.

She said that the impact will be comparatively less than the previous days.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Paschim Province.

According to the Division, the same weather system will continue during the night as well.
