Actor Aryan Sigdel signs new film ‘Saira’



KATHMANDU: Actor Aryan Sigdel has signed a new Nepal film ‘Saira’.

Audiences will soon get to see the chocolate boy of Nepali film industry flaunt his acting skills in ‘Saira’.

The actor signed the movie with producer, presenter DBR Media and Movies Private Limited on Sunday.

Being presented by Raghu Pariyar, Saira features a storyline on social drama and love story.

Aryan, who has been staying off the silver screen for some time, agreed to do the movie after he found the theme and the role suitable to him.

The shooting of Saira will take place in September and October during Dashain and Tihar.

About 90 percent of the film will be shot in Australia while 10 percent shooting will be done in Nepal.

Raghu, the presenter of the film, said that preparations are being made to shoot ‘Saira’ during Dasain and Tihar.

“The film will showcase a love story along with a social drama. We have approached Aryan as he suits our role. He is also excited about the role,” said Raghu.

Saira is based on Raghu’s story and the movie is likely to be directed by an Indian director.

“We are in talks with an Indian director working in Bollywood. And soon, we will disclose further line up of the movie in consulation with the director,” added Raghu.
