Helambu roadway obstructed



HELAMBU: The Sipaghat-Melamchi section of the Helambu roadway has been disrupted due to incessant rainfall causing landslips.

The Area Police Office Malamchi informed that the landslips occurred at various spots along the roadway.

Heavy equipment have been mobilized for removing debris and repairing the damaged road.

Disaster resource persons at Melamchi Municipality, Sujan Dulal, informed that the roadway will resume soon after the repair.

Due to landslides triggered by the rainfall, the Helambu bus service has not been operative regularly since Saturday morning.
