President Bhandari expresses grief over Abe’s demise

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed grief over the murder of former prime minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, President Bhandari paid heartfelt tribute to the late Abe. She also extended condolences to the Japanese people and bereaved family members at this hour of grief.

Abe was gunned down while addressing an election program on Friday.

Nepal government had also decided to observe the national mourning on Saturday at such grief.
