Nepal Police recommends promotion of 32 SPs to SSPs



KATHMANDU: 32 Superintendents of Police (SPs) of Nepal Police have been recommended for promotion to the post of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

A meeting of the promotion committee of Nepal Police held on Saturday has recommended 32 SPs to be promoted to the post of SSP.

Among those recommended are Ganesh Chand, Siddhi Bikram Shah, Sushil Singh Rathore, Uma Prasad Chaturvedi, Dan Bahadur Karki, Dr Manoj Kumar KC, Rajan Adhikari, Jeevan Kumar Shrestha, Himalaya Kumar Shrestha, Dambar Bahadur BK, Om Bahadur Rana, Ishwar Karki, Rajendra Prasad Bhatt, Dinesh Kumar Acharya and Arun Poudel.

Similarly, Govind Thapaliya, Madhav Prasad Shrestha, Dilliraj Bista, Manoj Kumar Yadav, Revati Dhakal, Dipendra Gharti Chhetri, Deepak Regmi, Dilip Singh Deuba, Binod Ghimire, Kisan Singh Thapa, Sudarshan Prasad Koirala, Deepak Kumar Basnet, Jayaraj Sapkota, Surendra Bahadur Gurung, Sanjeev Sharma Das, Lokendra Shrestha and Sharda Prasad Chaudhary are also in the recommend list.

Member Secretary of the Promotion Committee and Additional Inspector General of Police Pooja Singh informed that they have been recommended for promotion as per sub-rule (4) of rule 27 of the Police Rules, 2071 (with amendments).
