NEPSE sheds 17.67 points on Thursday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index lost 17.64 points on Thursday. This is a loss of 0.85%.

The index closed at 2,062.80 at the end of trading day today. The index had gained 60.22 points on Wednesday.

The index opened at 2,082.45 and made an intraday high of 2,115.60. It then made an intraday low at 2,058.28 and finally closed at 2,062.80 points.

A total of 4,156,104 shares of 229 companies exchanged hands via 30,762 transactions, resulting in a turnover of Rs 1.472 billion today. This is lower than Wednesday’s turnover of Rs 1.640 billion.
