128 families in Upper Dolpa get solar plants on charity



DOLPA: One hundred and twenty-eight households at Dolpbudhha rural municipality of Upper Dolpa have now access to solar energy.

According to ward chair of Dolpobudhha-6, Nurbu Damdul Gurung, 50-watt solar plant has been fixed at 128 households.

As he said, a social organisation Kadoorie had provided them solar plants free of cost.

The beneficiaries contributed the transport cost of the plant from Tallubagar of Nalgad municipality-12 to the village.

Senang Lama, one of the beneficiaries, said the installation of a solar plant in his house has made their life easier.
