PM Deuba to officially inaugurate Melamchi water project on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: Preparations are underway to officially inaugurate the Melamchi drinking water project on coming Tuesday.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will inaugurate the Melamchi drinking water project while unveiling the monument of former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai at Sundarijal.

Minister for Water Supply Umakanta Chaudhari said that all the preparations have been made and that Prime Minister Deuba will inaugurate the drinking water project on April 12.

Chaudhari further said that all the preparations have been completed to distribute the Melamchi water to the denizens of the Kathmandu Valley.
