Sudurpaschim Khaptad Gold Cup: Manang Marshyangd vs Himalayan today



DHANGADHI:  One game is taking place under the Sudurpaschim Khaptad Gold Cup Football tournament on Wednesday.

In the first semifinal to be held at Dhangadhi Stadium, Manang Marshyangdi Club will take on Himalayan Sherpa. The match will take place at 3 pm.

Both the matches are aiming to reach the final. Hence, the tournament is likely to be exciting.

Manang has reached the semifinal by defeating Delhi Football Club 2-1.

Similarly, Himalayan had beaten Sudurpaschim-11, 2-1. In the tournament organized by Sports Club Dhangadhi, as many as 10 teams are participating.

In the inaugural match, Manang Marshyangdi Club had defeated Delhi Football Club of India and in the second match, Bagmati Youth Club routed New Road Team in a penalty shootout.

The winner will bag Rs 2.1 million while the first runner-up will receive Rs 1 million. A total of 10 teams are taking part in the Sudurpaschim Khaptad Gold Cup football tournament.
