NEPSE gains 73.01 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has risen by more than 73 points on the first trading day of the week Sunday.

The NEPSE index, which started moving upwards as soon as the market opened today, rose by 73.01 points and closed at 2,765.47 points.

The Sensitive Index, which gauges the trading activity of Class A companies, also rose by 13.21 points today.

The intraday transaction amount also exceeded Rs. 7 billion. A total of 15,058,621 shares of 239 companies were traded through 82,113 transactions. The transaction amount has reached Rs. 7,101,831,591.

Api Power Company Limited (API) had the highest turnover of Rs. 29 million while the share of Prabhu Bank (PRVU) were traded the most.

All sectors closed green today. Among all other sectors that closed green, “Trading” has gained the highest 6.08%.
