PM Deuba undergoing PCR test today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who has taken to isolation from Saturday afternoon, is undergoing a PCR test today.

PM Deuba has remained in isolation after CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ tested positive for coronavirus.

Prime Minister Deuba had met the Maoist Center Chairman on Friday.

Prime Minister Deuba and Prachanda were present at a meeting of a high-level political mechanism in Baluwatar two days ago.

Likewise, Minister for Communications Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who was also present at the meeting, is in home isolation from Saturday.

He is also undergoing a PCR test today itself.
