PPMO seeks clarification for not blacklisting 8 companies



KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has sought clarification from eight construction entrepreneurs and supplier companies for the second time.

The defaulter companies were asked to furnish written clarification within seven days reasoning why they should not be blacklisted.

Those eight companies are Guna Construction Service of Makawanpur, Siruwa-Kabir-Sunkoshi JV of Kathmandu, Muskan Suppliers of Parsa, Anusthan Construction of Baneshwor, Siruwa Construction Pvt Ltd of Tinkune, Delhi Trading of Birgunj and Jaygadi Mai Construction, according to the PPMO.

Earlier, similar clarification was sought from all of eight erring companies within 30 days. Clarification was sought for the second time since they did not furnish written clarification.

The eight companies will be blacklisted if they fail to furnish clarification within seven days, the PPMO said.
