NEPALGUNJ: The Election Commission has sought clarification from Janata Samajbadi Party candidate in Banke Constituency-2 for House of Representatives member, Mohammad Ishtiyaq Rai.
EC sought clarification from Rayi based on the complaints of derogatory statement.
A complaint was filed charging Rayi of giving disrespectful statement against Chairperson of Duduwa rural municipality, Surendra Chaudhary (Pappu) in course of election campaigning.
Rayi was directed to furnish written response at the Election Commission or the District Election Office, Banke.
