PM Deuba addressing election assemblies in Baitadi and Darchula



KATHMANDU: With elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly scheduled for November 20 at a stone’s throw, various political parties and independent candidates have remained busy in campaigning.

Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, too, has remained busy in his home district, Dadeldhura, in the election campaign.

Sources close to PM Deuba said that he invited rebel candidates of his party to his residence in Dhangadhi and urged them to withdraw their candidacies.

The Prime Minister also met Nepali Congress leader Govinda Raj Joshi, who is contesting as an independent candidate in the State Assembly-2 from Kailali Constituency-3.

Meanwhile, PM Deuba is addressing mass assemblies in Baitadi and Darchula on Tuesday.

He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu only after addressing the mass meetings in the district.

It has been said that the Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and the Chairman of Unified Socialist, Madhav Kumar Nepal, are also scheduled to address the mass assemblies today.
