President admitted to TUTH in Maharajgunj



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj, in Kathmandu, on Saturday.

President’s personal secretary Bhesraj Adhikari said she was admitted to the hospital after suffering from minor health complications since Friday.

“She was admitted to the hospital after developing cough and fever,” he said.

Hospital Deputy Director Dr Niraj Bam said President Bhandari’s blood sample had been sent for testing.
