Child development center and house buried by landslide

KATHMANDU: A child development center and a house have been buried in a landslide that took place in Nisikhola of Baglung.

Three floors of the concrete building of Narmala Child Development Center located in Nisikhola rural municipality-6 were buried in the landslide triggered by heavy rainfall since the past few days.

Likewise, in Balkot village of the same municipality, the house of local resident Lal Bahadur Budhamagar was damaged by landslides.

Along with the house, grain stock, clothes, four bulls, one buffalo and six goats were also buried.

Lal Bahadur is now taking shelter at his neighbor’s house. No human casualty was reported in the incident.
