CIAA files corruption case against 5,including then Chief of Infrastructure, Dev Office Rautahat 



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case in the special court in Kathmandu against 5 persons, including the then acting Chief of the Infrastructure Development Office, Rautahat, Engineer Shivaji Prasad Ray.

Issuing a notice on Monday, CIAA informed that an embezzlement case has been filed against 5 persons including engineer Ray, and Ram Kishore Sah, Sub-Engineer Premchandra Jha.

The authority has mentioned that a case has been filed against them for misappropriation of Rs. 1,659,972 in the road repair and gravel construction of Ramban-Malghatta Mahinathpur road section.

Similarly, a corruption case has been filed against Muhammad Dawood, Accounts Officer of Infrastructure Development Office, Rautahat, and Rajkumar Mahato, Chairman of Road Repair and Gravel Construction Consumer Committee as well.
