NC President Deuba calls meeting of party leaders to discuss seat allocation

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of NC party leaders to discuss the allocation of seats for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Province Assembly.

A meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, will chart out a strategy on the issue of distribution of seats.

PM Deuba is to discuss the issue with his party leaders prior to the meeting of the five-ruling party task force, which is scheduled to be held this afternoon.

Sources said that PM Deuba will take suggestions from his party leaders on the allocation of seats among the five ruling political parties.
