NEPSE declines by 34.71 points Friday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE)declined by 34.71 points on the two-hours Friday trading.

The stock market index fell 1.71 percent on Friday, the last trading day of the week.

On Friday, the NEPSE index fell by 34.71 points and closed at 1992.61 points.

Along with NEPSE, all sub-indices have also declined. The trade, hotel and tourism and finance companies sub-index fell more than 3 percent.

The market saw a turnover of Rs 1.16 billion on Friday.

Shivam Cement had the highest turnover of Rs 559.84 million while United Idi Mardi & RB Hydropower Company had a turnover of Rs 397.67 million.

Of the 190 companies traded on Friday, 176 fell and only 14 rose.

The value of Global IME Samuntati Skill 1, Nabil Skill Fund has increased a lot.

The share price of Himalayan Energy Development Company dropped the most by 5.44 percent while the share price of Balefi Hydro Power, Himal Dolakha Hydro Power, Best Finance and other companies dropped significantly.
