IGP Singh confers rank  insignia to five recently promoted AIGs

KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dhiraj Pratap Singh presented the rank insignia to recently promoted Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGs) amid a program organized at the Nepal Police Headquarters on Wednesday.

A meeting of the cabinet held on Monday had decided to promote five Deputy Inspector Generals of Police to the post of AIGs.

Following the government’s decision, Inspector General of Police Singh presented the insignia to Uttam Raj Subedi, Arun Kumar BC, Divesh Lohani, Mukunda Raj Acharya and Puja Singh today.

On the occasion, IGP Singh congratulated the promoted senior police officers and their families and directed them to move ahead with a new action plan.
