KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) which has been declining since the day the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 was announced, rose by double digits on Wednesday.
The market increased by 60.22 points and reached 2080.44 points today. The market started from 2019.54 points and stopped at 2080.44 points.
Today, the share price of six companies witnessed a positive circuit. Shares of Samudayik Microfinance, Upkar Microfinance, Balefi Hydropower, Kalika Microfinance, Tehrathum Power Company and Unnati Cooperative Microfinance have risen by 10 percent.
Similarly, all subgroups went green today.
Around 5 million shares have been bought and sold at a turnover of Rs 1.64 billion on Wednesday.
Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has announced a four-member suggestion committee to study the share market.
