437 people benefitted from free eye camp in Humla



HUMLA: A day-long free eye camp organized at the District Hospital, Humla, has benefitted 437 people.

Of them 36 people would undergo cataract surgery on Wednesday.

The camp was organized by Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Health Service Office, District Eye Care Centre, Humla chapter of Nepal Red Cross Society and Humla chapter of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh.

Senior Auxiliary Nurse Midwife at the District Hospital, Humla, Sarita Bohara, said that eye patients from different rural municipalities including Simkot, Kharpunath received the service from the eye camp.

Similarly, free eye camp would be organised at Yalangba of Namkha rural municipality on June 9.
