KATHMANDU: It has been raining in the Kathmandu Valley since early morning today.
With generally to fully cloudy weather in Bagmati and Gandaki, it is raining in some places including in the Kathmandu Valley.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the rain is likely to occur in Kathmandu throughout the day today.
According to the Division, the weather will be generally to fully cloudy in Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki this afternoon.
The weather will remain normally to fully cloudy in the rest of the provinces.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Province-1, Bagmati, Gandaki, a few places of Madhes and one or two places in Karnali and Lumbini.
The Division said there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Bagmati, Gandaki and some places in Madhes tonight.
Currently, monsoon winds are having impact on the eastern part of Nepal.
The central and western terrain are affected by local winds and the low-pressure line formed the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
