KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has issued two ordinances on Sunday.
Issuing a press statement, the President’s Office stated that the president issued the Medicine (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2079 BS and the Ordinance on the Protection of Health Workers and Health Institutions (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2079 BS.
The press release, issued by Spokesperson for President’s Office Sagar Acharya, noted that the ordinances was issued on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 114 (1) of the Constitution.
