Unidentified person attacks election candidate with khukuri



BHOJPUR: An unidentified person attacked a poll candidate for ward member in Shadananda Municipality-10 in the district with a khukuri in the locality on Saturday night.

The injured Amita Tamang sustained head injuries and received four stitches, said the district police office, Bhojpur, adding that a search has been launched for the attacker.

Tamang has minor injury due to the attack and is said to be out of danger. (RSS)
