Ruling coalition will collapse on July 1, predicts UML Chair Oli

Says UML can tempt cat better than NC

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has predicted that the incumbent ruling coalition will end on July 1.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the party in Kathmandu on Sunday, the UML Chair claimed the coalition would not last much longer.

When asked about the basis for his claim, he replied that a reliable astrologer has predicted it.

Although the UML Chair did not reveal whether he was trying to split the coalition, he hinted that his party was in talk with the CPN-Maoist Center.

“A cat goes to the house which offers it the tasty food, we have better food for the cat than NC,” UML Chair Oli said referring to the Maoist Center as a cat.

He also criticized NC for forming a coalition with the Maoist Center.
