Jhamsikhel Youth Cub defeats Boys Union 3-1 with superb play

KATHMANDU: Jhamsikhel Youth Club defeated Boys Union Club 3-1 in the Martyrs’ Memorial ‘B’ Division League match played at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur, on Tuesday.

Jhamsikhel striker Akash Bahadur Rana gave Jamsikhel the lead by striking a superb shot through the top corner of the goal post in the 13th minute of the match.

Man Kumar Rai doubled Jhamsikhel’s lead in the 18th minute by taking advantage of the defensive fault of Boys Union Club.

In the second half of the match, Abiral Rijal scored the third goal for Jhamsikhel to make the score 3-0 while Bivek Rai of Boys Union scored a header to bring Boys Union back in the game.

No more goals were scored in the match and Jhamsikhel won the match by a wide margin of 3-1.

Jhamsikhel striker Akash Bahadur Rana was declared Man of the Match.
