KATHMANDU: A man has died in a tractor accident at Dandakharka in Tehrathum district.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Kishor Kumar Bishwokarma of Keureni.
The accident took place when the ill-fated tractor, Pradesh 1-02-003 Ta 1212, met with an accident while it was heading towards Keureni from the district headquarters Myanglung on Monday night.
Co-driver Mahesh Kumar Bishwokarma has got his right leg fractured.
He is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. The tractor had fallen some 60 meters down the road and has been badly damaged, police said.
Police have taken tractor driver Subas Bishwokarma under control and is investigating the case.
