Mahabharat’s Bhim, actor Pravin Kumar, dies of heart attack



NEW DELHI: Actor Pravin Kumar Sobti, popular for his role of Bhim in “Mahabharat”, has died at the age of 75.

“He passed away last night. He suffered a heart attack. He died at his home in Delhi,” Indian Express said.

Besides playing the role of Bhim, Kumar also starred in many films including “Shehenshah” and Loha.

Other films to his credit include Aaj Ka Arjun, Ajooba, and Ghayal, among others.

Before he became an actor, Praveen was a hammer and discus throw athlete.
