Farmers in Namobuddha provided agricultural tools



KAVREPALANCHOWK: Farmers in Namobuddha Municipality have been provided agricultural tools for convenience in farming.

A development project relating to fruit and vegetable provided the agricultural tools for the current fiscal year.

The farmers are provided electric spears on fifty percent grants and others on full grants. Eighty electric spears, 25 sets of drip irrigation tools, and 25 sets of materials for constructing a plastic pond were distributed to the farmers.

The project also provided 100 crates to four stalls at the Agriculture Products Collection Centre of Bhakundebensi.
Municipality Mayor Tanka Prasad Sharma Timilsina, Chief Administrative Officer Rajan Poudel, Agriculture Committee Coordinator Mel Bahadur Lama handed over the tools to the farmers. Nineteen farmers’ groups are associated with the project conducted in the municipality.

Even an improved cowshed program has been completed in the municipality. Similarly, an agriculture learning center has been set up at Ward No 3 and 10 in the municipality.RSS
