As many as 1.312 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to arrive on February 13



KATHMANDU: As many as 1.312 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be delivered on February 13 through the COVAX facility as part of the British government’s support to Nepal.

So far, more than 46.6 million doses of vaccines have already arrived in Nepal.

A total of 862,080 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19, provided by the British government through the COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access or COVAX facility, arrived in Nepal on Monday.

Head of the supply management branch of the Department of Health Services Surendra Chaurasia said the doses were out of the 2.17 million vaccines provided by the British government through the COVAX facility.
